Transparent Acceptable Use Policy
Whilst other providers shape and throttle internet connectivity for the whole month based on usage, we like to take a more proactive approach to bandwidth management.
We have created a 10 day usage monitoring system to provide users with an interface that shows how much bandwidth they have used and how close they are to the throttling period.
We only throttle users who have exceeded 50% of the maximum download capacity on the account within 10 days, while still keeping bandwidth prioritised to business levels. Once data usage returns to less than 50%, throttling is removed.
